Hey Everyone,

We’ve been very busy here on The Island of Misfit Toys.  In addition to rehearsing, adding new material and performing, we’ve been in and out of the studio recording a few demos of our signature songs.  Angel from Montgomery with the Sugaree mashup is the first one that we’re releasing.  We were also lucky to snag some time with the very talented John Condne to shoot the video.

We’re premiering the video at 8:00 PM on December 8th, 2022.  We’re continuing the party at Friendly Tap Friday December 9th for a night of music with The Island of Misfit Toys.  Click below to subscribe to our YouTube channel and to get notified when the video premieres.

We just played a great block party to support a great cause.  October 1st was the third annual ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation 5k run and block party.  This annual event is organized to support the foundation’s effort to fund research for effective treatments for DIPG and defeat childhood brain tumors.  We were so proud to be there to play in support of this amazing organization and to be there to honor the memory of Owen Shaker Petrezelka.  You can learn more about ChadTough and Team Owen by clicking this link.

 

We were honored to share the stage with a bunch of local talent.  DJ Duke Supreme got the party going.  The Hoyle Brothers put on an exceptional country set.  You can catch them at their website by clicking this link.  Lastly, The Mann Fam Band put on a fun show for everyone.

Thanks to all of our fans that came out to support this amazing foundation.  Also, many thanks to Mike Morgan for managing the stage and doing the sound for the event.  You always make us sound great.
