Christina is the Island of Misfit Toys’ lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.

With vocal power and a range akin to Heart’s Ann Wilson, Christina brings everything she has to the stage. She has been singing since she was a toddler, and she grew up surrounded by multiple genres of music, creating a deep connection to what moved her soul. She was trained classically, which served to nurture her rock voice in more ways that she could have imagined when all she wanted to do was sing Pat Benatar, Blondie, Joan Jett, and her vocal instructor kept handing her arias to learn. Through many choir experiences, the lead in the high school musical, several MLB National Anthems, and fronting more than a couple of bands over the last 25 years,  Christina has become the vocal and stage presence that she is today. Her own sound is influenced greatly by many artists, but particularly, Janis Joplin, Lzzy Hale, Susan Tedeschi, Chris Cornell, to name a few. She also plays guitar with the band.

In addition to fronting the Island of Misfit Toys, Christina is the Music Director and a vocal instructor at the School of Rock Glenbrook, where she teaches the next generation of musicians and rock stars. In her off-stage life, she also is a yoga teacher and sound healer. Music is where she is meant to be. It is Home. Christina has discovered how to become one with the music, because it lives in her soul.
